This is it, it’s graduation time everything I have worked for is about to pay off. Although I’m not nervous to graduate, I'm more nervous about leaving home because I'm going to miss everyone, especially my dog, and I've never been on my own. The only things I have done to prepare to leave home and start a new life are; I have gotten my license, visited campuses, and prepared my brother and father for life without me around. However,I need to prepare my dog for me to leave he needs to stop being so attached to me and see my brother or preferably my dad as his main owner.
Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to going to college and not having to deal with my family drama, meeting new people, and living in a dorm. Most people tell me that living in a dorm is the worst but I cannot wait, because I may be neighbors or roommates with a few new life long friends. I’m getting ahead of myself first I must graduate and sit and reminisce about what this school has brought me and what I’m grateful for.
I'm most grateful for my soccer team without them I would never have made it through the most difficult time of my life. I'm also thankful for Mr. Arroyo and Araque, Miss. Flum, Mrs. Godoy and Urrutia, and Ms. Benitez. Those teachers have helped me get to my potential and believed in me every step of the way. Lastly I'm thankful for my dog who as caused me so much laughter and happiness, and of course my family for their support. Now I wait these last few months, stay on pace, and most importantly graduate! because this is the end.
